Job Description:
Clean Harbors is actively seeking a skilled CDL Driver /
Equipment Operator with experience in manual transmission to join
our team in Monaca. As a leader in environmental services across
North America, Clean Harbors ensures the effective execution of
hazardous waste disposal and emergency spill responses, striving to
maintain operational excellence while safeguarding the environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for the safe transportation
and handling of hazardous materials, utilizing your expertise in
manual transmission vehicles to promote sustainability and company
efficiency. Operate manual transmission vehicles to transport
hazardous materials to designated locations. Ensure compliance with
all federal, state, and local regulations related to hazardous
waste transportation. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to
maintain vehicle in optimal condition. Manage documentation for
load pick-up and delivery in adherence to company protocols.
Respond promptly to emergency spills and assist with waste disposal
and clean-up. Participate in ongoing training and safety programs
to enhance job performance and safety awareness. Proven proficiency
in operating manual transmission vehicles. Solid understanding of
DOT regulations and safety standards. Ability to handle and
document hazardous materials safely. Excellent navigational and
route management skills. Strong communication and documentation
