J8 Security, a leader in tailored security solutions, is looking for a dedicated Security Officer to join our team for weekend shifts. This role is crucial for maintaining the safety and security of the premises and personnel at our client sites. You'll be the frontline of our security operations during the weekends, ensuring that all safety protocols are adhered to, and providing peace of mind to our clients through exemplary service. Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules. Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety of patrons and prevent property damage. Manage access to the facilities, ensuring that only authorized personnel enter secured areas. Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances promptly. Write detailed reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. Maintain a high level of professionalism with clients and work to establish a positive rapport with every visitor. Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas. Ability to operate security control center equipment and related software. Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols. Surveillance skills and detail orientation. Strong problem solving and communication skills. Basic proficiency in MS Office. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Valid state security officer license (if applicable). CPR and First Aid certification preferred but not required upon hire; training will be provided.
