Residential and Acute Care Employment Status: Both full- and
part-time opportunities available. Compensation: $35 - $37/hour

The Nurse Aide Program RN Instructor teaches The Training and
Education Funds Nurse Aide Training Center (NATC) state-approved
curriculum and serves as an advisor and mentor to students.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and
confidential records on all students, including allstaterequired
assessments and attendance records. Deliver approved curriculum to
enhance knowledge and clinical skills aimed at assisting students
with passing the state nurse aide examinations. Develop clinical
rotation schedule/residentcaseload in conjunction with clinical
site. Supervise, train, and support students during clinical
rotations. Evaluate student clinical progress daily, utilizing
approved assessment tools (procedure evaluation sheets, anecdotal
notes, clinical evaluation sheets, quizzes, examinations,
attendance records, etc.). Provide a stimulating environment that
encourages student participation, interpersonal skills development,
and safe and effectiveresidentcare and provide student remedial
assistance as needed. Communicatetimelyandeffectively with
students, peers, and clinical site team members. Inventory
equipment; inform the Coordinator of any needed program equipment
or supplies. Attend and participate in the TEF NATC related
meetings, as needed, in order to collaborate, align instruction,
monitor student progress, and continually improve TEFs NATC
program. Assist with the NATC audit by providing required student,
curriculum, attendance and assessment information. Promote the
mission of The Training and Education Fund NATC in a positive
manner with all staff, participants, and partners, and provide a
consistent exchange of information in a transparent and
collaborative environment.
