Engineering Manager Objective Lead our North American engineering team, delivering exceptional technical support for clients and partners. Drive product innovation while ensuring all engineering needs are met for both standard and custom projects. Develop your team to provide superior service as the technical foundation of our premium brand. Responsibilities Collaborate with executive team on strategic initiatives as participant, contributor, or oversight provider Deliver expert technical guidance and training to both internal teams and clients regarding installation, commissioning, modifications, and custom applications Create detailed technical documentation including application designs and implementation specifications Act as North American technical ambassador to global R&D teams, aligning regional requirements with international standards Manage timely and cost-effective product launches in the North American market Ensure all products meet applicable regulatory standards and compliance requirements Support revenue and profitability targets through technical excellence and operational efficiency Develop technical capabilities of sales partners to accurately represent product capabilities Administer engineering department resources and budget effectively Enhance specification materials to meet North American market expectations Verify production quality standards across internal manufacturing and external supply chain Partner with sales and marketing teams on product launches and customer engagement Set performance standards through personal example and team motivation Contribute to overall business strategy and organizational development Requirements Engineering degree (mechanical, electrical, or related field preferred) Substantial experience in technical leadership role, preferably within illumination industry Background in engineered solution delivery with customer service emphasis Technical aptitude for lighting systems, electrical components, and control technologies Ability to travel domestically monthly for industry events with occasional international travel Proven track record as a collaborative technical leader who develops team capabilities Superior communication abilities with dedication to client service Strategic thinker capable of high-level organizational contribution Exceptional problem-solving skills with solution-oriented mindset Creative approach to innovation and product development Meticulous attention to detail with commitment to quality outcomes Strong organizational capabilities with results-focused execution Inclusive leadership style with relationship-building capabilities Self-motivated with positive energy and drive Balance of creative and analytical thinking Strong sense of ownership and follow-through on commitments M1 Ref: 282-Eng Pgh
