Job Description At DT Midstream (DTM), we've got the energy to

our customers across the Southern, Northeastern and Midwestern

safe, caring, dependable and efficient in all we do. Engineering
Interns provide entry level support to the Engineering Team and
work with a cross-section of Project Engineers, Facilities
Engineers and Pipeline Engineers and may interact with operations
and construction personnel. Students will gain an understanding of
the planning and design process for a project under development and
the engineering plans, drawings, and specifications for
construction of pipeline and facility projects. Students are
expected to have a basic understanding of engineering concepts to
help analyze data, solve problems, and assist with system
performance. Students are expected to support safety and
environmental compliance. Key Accountabilities An Engineering
Intern will perform some of these duties at an entry level Assist
with executing engineering studies, proposing solutions or
recommending alternatives Assist with developing engineering
standards and practices Assist with the design and development of
engineering bid packages for construction including scope of work;
plans, drawings, and details; construction specifications Provide
design solutions and performance test requirements towards
optimizing production or solving process related incidents Develop
process design basis and process flow diagrams for new projects
Prepare and present technical reports on projects Participate in
Process Hazards Analysis (PHA) to ensure safety in design and
facility operations, and in Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR)
Develop and conduct process simulations in conjunction with
Operating facilities to investigate system steady state responses
in support of diagnostics and troubleshooting Participate in
incident investigation to analyze equipment, system and procedure
failures with the aim to provide solutions and corrective actions
to root causes Collecting data required to make process
improvements and modifications Learn and develop ability to apply
knowledge of engineering principles to transmission and gathering
pipeline industry Receive guidance and direction from more senior
engineers Minimum Education & Experience Requirements Undergraduate
and Graduate students enrolled in an accredited four-year college
or university are eligible. Students will no longer be eligible to
hold an internship position upon graduation from their program
unless the student has been accepted into another degree program.
Graduating high school seniors who have been accepted to begin
college in the fall are eligible to apply if they will be at least
18 years of age prior to their start date. A college acceptance
letter must be provided. Students must have a minimum 2.5
cumulative GPA College students will be asked to provide an
official transcript as proof of eligibility prior to receiving an
offer of employment. Other Requirements: Some assignments will
require driving. Those positions will require the student to have a
valid driver’s license, a reliable means of transportation, and an
acceptable driving record. Proficiency in computer applications
applicable to specific work field/discipline including Excel, Word,
Visio and Access database Ability to communicate effectively both
orally and in writing Effective time management and a personal
commitment to work Practice the corporate Service Keys of Safe,
Caring, Efficient and Reliable Preferred Requirements: Coursework
in engineering preferred Knowledge of engineering software /
simulation packages such as HYSYS, Flaresim, Fluidflow, Pro/II,
and/or equivalent Knowledge of Hazard Identification and Analysis
(HAZOP) and Risk Assessment process Physical Demands The physical

close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee works both in
a business office setting and at project sites. In the course of
working at the project site, the employee is occasionally exposed
to outside weather conditions, including cold/hot, wet and/or humid
conditions, and may work near moving mechanical parts and/or
machinery. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or
airborne particles and vibration (see physical requirements above).
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to
moderate in the office but may become loud at the project site.
