Job Description:
Full-time Description Description We are seeking a highly
skilled and motivated Laboratory Civil Engineer with a Professional
Engineering (PE) license to join our team. The ideal candidate will
be responsible for conducting advanced laboratory tests, analyzing
materials, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This
role requires a strong background in civil engineering principles,
laboratory testing, and project management. Key Responsibilities
Conduct and oversee laboratory tests on construction materials,
including soil, concrete, and aggregate. Analyze test results and
prepare detailed reports. Ensure all laboratory activities comply
with ASTM, AASHTO, and other relevant standards. Develop and
implement quality control procedures for laboratory operations.
Collaborate with Laboratory Manager and Client Coordinator to
provide technical support and recommendations. Assist in the
maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment Stay updated
with the latest industry trends and advancements in laboratory
testing methods Project Coordination and Execution Position is Full
time, and is located in Coraopolis, PA. This is NOT a remote

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with
a concentration in Geotechnical Engineering. Professional
Engineering (PE) license. Strong knowledge of ASTM and AASHTO
standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in laboratory equipment and software. Strong
communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work
independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications 5
years of experience in a civil engineering laboratory setting
Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field.
Experience with advanced geotechnical testing Permeameter tests for
water-saturated porous materials Oedometer tests to measure soil
consolidation properties Triaxial and direct shear tests to measure
shear strength Other advanced testing (e.g. CRS, DSS, Triaxial
Extension, etc.) Familiarity with laboratory management software.
Aptitude with mechanical and electrical test systems Familiarity
and experience with Trautwein GeoTac Software Position is Full
