The\ * RN Home Health QAPI\* will provide direction, coordination, and implementation of professional and supportive services to clients in a safe and cost-effective manner by performing the following duties.*Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following*. Other duties may be assigned.* Supports company mission, values, strategic goals and high standards of customer service.* Responsible review in ensuring accurate, complete and timely provision of quality client care and services in compliance with regulatory, operational and financial requirements.* Assures the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of clinical records in compliance with regulatory, operational and financial requirements.* Responsible for monitoring and evaluation of clinical measures of performance. Develops and follows through with action plans based upon measurement results.* Performs review in Oasis software and will be responsible for locking of records.* Provides support and acts as liaison to clinical staff, including but not limited to service feedback, mentoring and problem resolution.* Provides training and educational opportunities for clinical staff. Participates in and/or facilitates these activities as necessary.* Assists with the coordination and/or completion of performance improvement activities.* Actively participates in activities such as strategic planning, PA meetings, budget development and financial performance; provide sales support when necessary* Participates in on-call coverage rotation as needed.* Responsible for clinical policy and procedure development and implementation.* Collaboratively works with the Home Health Director to ensure proper coding diagnosis for optimal reimbursement through payers.* As deemed necessary, and on an interim basis, may/will take on duties and responsibilities of the Home Health Director (Refer to the Home Health Director Job Description).* Maintain the confidentiality of all resident, staff and organization information.* Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.*Education and/or Experience*Must be a Registered Nurse with a minimum of two years Home Health Care experience and at least one year of supervisory experience.*Certificates, Licenses, Registrations*Must be a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
