Belmont Pines Hospital, situated on nearly 20 beautifully wooded
acres in Liberty Township, Ohio, is the largest, freestanding
behavioral health hospital in Ohio, serving northeast Ohio and
western Pennsylvania. We provide comprehensive behavioral services
for children and adolescents in the inpatient, outpatient and RTC
setting. We are looking for a Recreational/Activity Therapist to
work Per Diem. The Recreational/Activity Therapist functions as an
active part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient
care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients
ranging in age from preschool through adolescences depending on

Qualifications
The Recreation Therapist position requires: Education: Degree from
an accredited college or university in recreational therapy, or
like degree. Experience: Completion of fieldwork as part of degree
requirements. Knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques with
understanding of mental illness and group work. Previous work
experience as a recreational/activity therapist in a psychiatric
hospital is preferred. Licensure: Recreational therapy
