The RN -is responsible for day to day operations of the 70-bed skilled nursing unit under the supervision of the Director of Nursing to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. -
-QUALIFICATIONS
-A. - - - - - - Education and/or Experience
o - - - Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing and meet all applicable federal and state licensure requirements
o - - - Must be able to supervise and instruct others
o - - - Previous experience in hospital, long-term care facility, or healthcare related facility
o - - - Must be knowledgeable of general, rehabilitative, and restorative nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines governing long-term care
B - - - - -B. - - -Skills and Abilities
o - - - Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
o - - - Organizational skills required
o - - - Must be able to supervise and instruct others
o - - - -Must have a positive attitude towards the elderly
