Job Description:
Mercy Health Physicians-Youngstown is seeking a general
outpatient physical medicine and rehabilitation physician to assist
in diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disease and medical
conditions. Primary responsibilities include outpatient clinical
care for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients who
suffer from these musculoskeletal conditions. This physician must
possess competence to enhance the function of patients affected
body parts, heal and alleviate pain, which includes treatment of
these conditions that can affect the nerves, bones, joints, and
muscles. The position welcomes subspecialty certification but is
not required, and electromyography certification will be
considered, but not required.
This physical medicine and rehabilitation physician will work under
Mercy Health Physicians Youngstown Musculoskeletal department along
with 9 employed orthopedic surgeons, 3 employed physical medicine
and rehabilitation physicians, 3 podiatrists, and 1 employed
chiropractor. The practice is experiencing growth, and the addition
of a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician will meet the
needs of our patients and continue to offer our community
comprehensive musculoskeletal services.
