Full-Time Sr. Professional Staff Nurse – Operating Room ANCC Magnet Recognized Hospital /n Schedule: /n /n - Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM /n - No call or holiday shifts /n - Schedule details discussed during interview /n /n Why Join Us? As a Senior Professional Staff Nurse, you’ll support surgical patients and mentor others while advancing your own practice. /n Key Responsibilities: /n /n - Lead in clinical expertise, education, or evidence-based practice /n - Collaborate and communicate effectively with the care team /n - Develop and implement patient-centered care plans /n - Participate in shared governance and hospital-wide initiatives /n - Support continuous learning and quality improvement /n - Perform scrub duties and maintain clinical competencies /n /n - Minimum 2 years' experience. /n - 1 year OR experience preferred /n - BSN preferred /n - Annual completion of 2 professional contributions selected from department, hospital or system goals, and approved by Unit Director OR certification and 1 professional contribution selected from department, hospital or system goals, and approved by Unit Director as set forth through UPMC's My Nursing Career Ladder. /n - Certification not required if master's in nursing or DNP is held. /n - If a BSN is held, a master's degree in a related field may be substituted in lieu of Certification. /n /n /n Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: /n /n - Registered Nurse (RN) /n - Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) /n - Act 33 with renewal /n - Act 34 with renewal /n - Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal /n /n UPMC is an equal opportunity employer: Minorities/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
