(CPhT) certification and 1 years Pharmacy Technician experience

be considered. A specialty retail pharmacy is seeking an
experienced Pharmacy Technician for a contract position based in
Butler, PA. This opportunity focuses on serving complex patients
managing multiple medications daily, requiring strong communication
skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Responsibilities: Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing
prescriptions accurately Support patients with advanced chronic
conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and MS Utilize pharmacy
software to manage prescription data efficiently (experience with
Pioneer Rx preferred) Communicate clearly with patients, many with
low literacy rates, to ensure understanding and adherence
Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient
care for Medicare/Medicaid, low-income populations Qualifications:
Previous experience as a retail or specialty pharmacy technician
Demonstrated ability to communicate compassionately and effectively
with patients Experience working with chronic disease populations
highly preferred Registration with the Pennsylvania Board of
Pharmacy is required National certification (PTCB) is highly
preferred but not mandatory Proficiency or willingness to learn
Pioneer Rx software Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00
p.m., with a 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. lunch break No weekends or
holidays This contract role offers the potential for conversion to
a permanent position based on performance and fit. A competitive
hourly rate is provided. Qualified candidates should submit an

patient communication and specialty medication experience, and
proof of PA registration or PTCB certification. Immediate
