Job Description:

Renewal Rehab, a leading provider of contract therapy services, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. This position involves working closely with Occupational Therapists to implement therapeutic plans and facilitate rehabilitation for patients in nursing homes, rehab centers, and long-term care facilities. The ideal candidate will help patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working environments. Assist Occupational Therapists in the assessment and evaluation of patient needs and progress. Implement therapeutic plans and exercises outlined by the supervising Occupational Therapist. Monitor and document patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team. Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential. Educate patients and family members about patient therapies and how to assist in the patient's recovery. Ensure the proper maintenance of equipment and adhere to safety and cleanliness guidelines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow detailed instructions. Knowledge of therapy and rehabilitation techniques and practices. Familiarity with medical software and patient management systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of employment.
