Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Bridgeport, WV Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,398 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Bridgeport, West Virginia, 26330! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: MedSurg/Telemetry Float Pool Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: All travelers must take and pass a cardiac rhythm exam. Nurses must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips. Description: This position requires floating among various medical surgical and telemetry units. Common diagnoses include CHF, cardiac cath, chest pain, pneumonia, chronic renal disease, COPD, ortho, and oncology. Patients on the unit are primarily managed with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6. Charge nurses are available 24/7, with daytime charge nurses not taking patient assignments. Certified Nursing Assistants are utilized on the units. Respiratory Therapy manages equipment such as CPAP and BiPap. Nurses are not required to titrate drips but must administer set-rate drips. The facility operates 12-hour shifts with weekend requirements scheduled every other weekend. Travelers participate in the holiday rotation. The work setting is acute care.
