Job Description ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Morgantown, West Virginia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN - Trauma & General Surgery Inpatient Unit/n/n Location/n Location not specified. /n/nAssignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n 12-hour night shifts on weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). /n/nJob Description/n The RN will work in a high-impact, fast-paced Trauma and General Surgery inpatient unit, focusing on delivering comprehensive care for patients with complex medical needs. This includes managing trauma cases, conducting wound care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Provide care for multi-trauma patients, including those with traumatic brain injuries and complex spinal cord injuries. /n - Administer medications, including titratable drips as required. /n - Utilize critical thinking and time-management skills to handle floor and step-down patients effectively. /n - Collaborate with care management and medical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - Current BLS certification required. /n - Experience with complex wound care, chest tubes, drains, and respiratory support. /n - Ability to read telemetry strips. /n - Experience in step-down or trauma nursing preferred. /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
