Registered Nurse (RN) | Neuro Location: Morgantown, WV Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,236 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Neuro RN in Morgantown, West Virginia, 26506! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Neuro MedSurg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Weekend Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS and NIHSS required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: Strong neuro experience, recent Epic experience, proficiency with G-tubes, and NIHSS certification Description: Unit has 20 beds with a 1:5-6 patient ratio. Unit specializes in neurosciences, deep brain stimulators, stroke, seizures, postoperative spine care, and neurological disorders. Charge nurse is available 24/7. Nurse-to-patient ratio may vary based on staffing. Respiratory therapy is available 24/7. Registered nurses do not need to have vent experience, as those are managed by respiratory therapy and physicians. Telemonitoring is available, and registered nurses do not have to read strips. Documentation that verifies monitor techs' strip readings is completed in the electronic medical record system. Floating to specific units may be required based on facility needs. Weekend shifts are mandatory, including holiday rotations. Nurses are expected to maintain flexibility in scheduling. Dress code is any combination of white and royal blue.
