is currently seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist for a
travel assignment at a premier Women’s Health facility in
Indianapolis. This is a specialized role within an OBGYN doctor's
office that operates as a screening-only facility. Working
alongside another full-time technologist, you will ensure
high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, professional
environment. As a clinician with Medix, you will have the
opportunity to work with advanced imaging technology while
supporting a critical mission in women's health. Location:

Hours) Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shifts State License Needed:
Indiana State License Pay: Personalized compensation packages,
including competitive hourly rates and applicable travel stipends,
will be discussed in detail with your recruiter. Responsibilities
Clinical Imaging & Patient Care Screening Procedures: Perform
high-quality screening mammograms in a high-volume setting,
typically seeing 29-35 patients daily between two full-time
technologists. Equipment Operation: Utilize the Hologic Dimensions
system to capture precise 3D/2D images, ensuring optimal
positioning and patient comfort. Patient Advocacy: Guide patients
through the screening process, addressing concerns and providing
clear instructions to ensure a positive experience. Radiation
Safety: Adhere to all ALARA principles and radiation safety
protocols to protect both patients and staff. Operations & Quality
Control Image Integrity: Review and critique images for technical
quality before submission to the reading radiologist.
Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and radiology logs
in compliance with MQSA (Mammography Quality Standards Act) and
facility standards. Collaborative Environment: Work closely with
the Interdisciplinary Team within the OBGYN office to streamline
workflow and maintain patient schedules. Requirements ARRT(M)
Certification: Must be registered with the American Registry of
Radiologic Technologists in Mammography. Indiana State License:
Active and valid license to practice in the state of Indiana.
Proven experience in a high-volume clinical or outpatient setting.
Preferred Skills BLS Certification: Current Basic Life Support
certification is preferred. Previous experience with Hologic
Dimensions equipment is a plus. Benefits Paid Sick Leave: Medix
