Job Description Job Description We are looking for a talented Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team this school year. 4 hours per week Hourly Rate Range: $40.00 - $62.00 per hour Responsibilities would include: Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' motor function, mobility, and physical therapy needs. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans. Provide direct physical therapy services to improve gross motor skills, posture, balance, coordination, and mobility. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to integrate therapy strategies into the school environment. Recommend and implement adaptive equipment, positioning strategies, and classroom modifications. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with Ohio Department of Education & Workforce (ODEW) and IDEA guidelines. Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions. Train and support teachers and staff on movement strategies, mobility support, and accessibility accommodations. Required Qualifications: Doctorate (DPT) or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Current Ohio Physical Therapy Licensure (issued by the Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Trainers Board). Ohio Department of Education & Workforce (ODEW) Approval as a Related Service Provider (or ability to obtain). Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required.
