with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in
Bridgeport, West Virginia, 26330! Job Title: Registered Nurse

Pool Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours
Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Must-Have: All travelers must take and pass a cardiac rhythm exam.
Candidates should have experience reading and interpreting
telemetry strips. Candidates must be able to manage basic telemetry
patients while floating between units. Description: The
MedSurg/Tele Float Pool provides care to various patient
populations. Common diagnoses include CHF, cardiac catheterization,
chest pain, pneumonia, chronic renal disease, COPD, orthopedic
cases, and oncology patients. The nurse-to-patient ratio is
typically 1:5-6 during both day and night shifts, depending on
patient acuity. A charge nurse is present 24/7, with the day charge
not taking patients while the night charge does. Certified Nursing
Assistants (CNAs) are utilized on the unit to support patient care.
Respiratory Therapy manages CPAP and BiPap equipment, while nurses
are not responsible for titrating drips. Telemetry is available,
and nurses must be capable of interpreting telemetry strips.
Self-scheduling is done through the management team, with schedules
made 4-6 weeks in advance. Staff are required to work every other
weekend and participate in holiday rotation schedules. The float
pool is designed for RNs to report for unit assignments prior to
the start of their shifts. Each traveler receives 1-2 shifts of
orientation with a preceptor. Dress code includes royal blue scrubs
