Job Description:
Genesis HealthCare, a leader in post-acute and long-term care,
is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse
(LPN) to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this role, you will
be integral in providing top-notch care and support to our
patients, focusing on clinical excellence and enhancing the quality
of life. This position involves working closely with a team of
healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality
medical services and adherence to all regulatory and compliance
guidelines. Monitor patient health and maintain accurate records of
vital signs and medical information. Administer medications and
treatments as prescribed by the attending healthcare provider.
Collaborate with physicians and registered nurses to devise
individualized care plans for patients. Assist in the
implementation of patient care plans and the assessment of patient
needs. Communicate with patients and their families, providing
comfort and education about treatments and care. Manage inventory
of medical supplies and report any discrepancies to the facility
manager. Excellent patient care and nursing skills. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively
in a team environment. Knowledge of medical software and
proficiency in electronic health records. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Licensed
Practical Nurse (LPN) license. Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification preferred.
