Job Description LOCUM Cardiac Surgeon *133466: Northwest, PennsylvaniaPractice: Boards: Must be certified or Truly EligibleCerts: ACLS, CPR, BLSLicense: Will accept a licensing candidateMinimum Experience: 3 yearsCoverage: Start: December 23, 2025Duration: OngoingNeed: 4 shifts per monthType: Call and RoundingSchedule: Friday - Monday AM Schedule: No set weekends needed other than 12/23-26 and 6/9 to Sunday 6/14.Night Call 5 pm - 8 am24-Hour Call 8 am - 8 amTypical Day: Emergency Cases, ECMO, TamponadeSolo - YesOther Specialties onsite: Thoracic and Vascular surgery, as well as general and trauma surgeryAdditional: 24-hour call-only position, no clinic.Is the physician the sole provider on call? Yes, but APPs take floor callAre providers required to harvest endovein and/or perform open/close for open-heart procedures? APPs are available for OR supportAverage of calls when on call? 1 (APPs take first call for all but ICU, ED, and transfers)Will the physician be expected to act as a Surgical First Assist?
