Job Description:
Genesis HealthCare, a leader in post-acute, rehabilitation,
skilled nursing, and long-term care services, is seeking an
experienced Wound Care and Skin Health Team Lead, RN. This role
focuses on leading a team dedicated to exceptional wound care
management and skin health, ensuring our patients receive the
highest standard of care. The Team Lead will oversee all aspects of
the wound care program, from assessment and treatment to education
and compliance. Ideal candidates will bring a deep understanding of
wound care therapies combined with significant leadership skills to
effectively manage and mentor nursing staff, ensuring adherence to
the latest clinical protocols and standards. Oversee the daily
operations of the wound care and skin health department. Ensure the
delivery of optimum wound care therapy and skin health services to
patients. Conduct assessments and create treatment plans aligned
with latest practices. Manage, train, and mentor nursing staff on
proper wound care techniques and new protocols. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams to integrate skin health into patient care
programs. Audit and maintain compliance with health regulations and
organizational policies. Regularly review and update department's
policies and procedures. Expert knowledge in wound care management
Strong leadership and team management capabilities Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in using
healthcare software and patient database systems Ability to
maintain professionalism and make decisions under pressure Medical

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Certified Wound Specialist
Nurse (CWSN) preferred
