Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is for an experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in the Operating Room environment. The role focuses on providing high-quality perioperative care, requiring strong skills in thoracic and orthopedic surgeries. Additional experience in general surgery, neurosurgery, and vascular procedures is highly preferred. The position demands proficiency in circulating and scrubbing during surgical cases, ensuring patient safety and effective surgical support. Key Responsibilities: Perform circulating and scrub nursing duties in the operating room setting Provide perioperative nursing care for thoracic and orthopedic surgeries Assist with general, neuro, and vascular surgeries as needed Collaborate closely with surgical teams to promote sterile and efficient operating environments Monitor and document patient status throughout procedures Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols within the surgical suite Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current and valid RN license Proven experience in operating room nursing, specifically thoracic and orthopedic cases Familiarity and ability to assist with general surgery, neurosurgery, and vascular procedures Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and surgical instruments Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and handle fast-paced clinical environments Schedule and Location: Location: Strongsville, OH 40-hour workweek, structured as four 10-hour shifts per week No block scheduling requirements About Strongsville, OH:Strongsville offers a blend of suburban comfort and convenient access to metropolitan amenities.
