About the Position We are actively seeking a Family Medicine Nurse
Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with Emergency
Medicine experience for a high-demand locum tenens assignment in
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania . This is a night shift role in a
correctional facility , ideal for providers comfortable managing
acute and urgent care independently. Schedule Thursday – Saturday:
6:00 PM – 6:00 AM Every other Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM Minimum:
2 weeks/month ( Full-time strongly preferred ) Overtime: Paid after
80 hours every 2 weeks Practice Setting Correctional Facility
Fast-paced, high-acuity environment Night shift coverage EMR
TechCare Requirements Clinical Responsibilities Perform intake
assessments for newly incarcerated individuals Evaluate and manage
acute and chronic medical conditions Oversee detox protocols in
collaboration with substance use nurses Respond to urgent and
emergent medical issues Requirements Active Pennsylvania NP/PA
License Board Certified (NP/PA) BLS & ACLS Certifications
Pennsylvania DEA License Prior night shift experience strongly
preferred Emergency Medicine experience highly preferred ?
Credentialing & Start Credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days May begin
working while credentialing is in process
