Urology Physician Opportunity

Hermitage & New Castle Area, Pennsylvania

A healthcare system in Pennsylvania is seeking a Urologist for locum coverage across multiple clinic and hospital locations.

Compensation:

Regular $325/hr, 24 hour call with clinic - $4200 with 10 hour gratis, $350/hr call-back after 10 hours.

5 shifts per month
Monday Friday only
Schedule:
Clinic hours: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
24-hour call shifts: 7:00 AM 7:00 AM
No weekend coverage required
Practice Locations

Coverage will rotate between multiple sites

Providers must be willing to work across all assigned locations. Coverage distribution is approximately 50/50 between clinic and surgical/call locations.

Clinical Responsibilities
Outpatient urology clinic coverage
Inpatient consults and call coverage
Surgical coverage on assigned OR days
Minor office procedures
Required Procedures
Cystoscopy
Stent removal
Minor urologic procedures
Call Responsibilities
24-hour urology call coverage
Approximate overnight call volume:
0 4 calls per night
30-minute response time required

Patient Population
Adult patients only
Practice Environment
EMR: Epic and Cerner
Provider will work at one location per day
Clinic responsibilities always include call coverage
Overnight call generally involves minimal scheduled daytime patients
Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
Active Pennsylvania license preferred
Providers needing licensure will be considered
Minimum 3 years of experience preferred
DEA required
ACLS certification required
BLS certification required
CPR certification required
Additional Information
Estimated credentialing timeframe: Approximately 90 days
Full privileges available
Flexible scheduling available as long as monthly coverage needs are met
Travel reimbursement available per facility guidelines
Reason for Coverage: Provider turnover vacancy
