Job Description Job Description We are looking for a dedicated
Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania. In this role, you will provide high-level
administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of HR and
Learning & Development functions. This long-term contract position
requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail,
and the ability to manage confidential employee data effectively.
Responsibilities: • Ensure employee data is accurately maintained
and updated within HR systems. • Facilitate orientation sessions
for new employees and assist with onboarding processes. • Manage
training records by uploading rosters, scheduling sessions,
auditing completions, and supporting compliance efforts. • Conduct
regular audits of employee records to verify data accuracy. •
Develop and improve administrative processes and procedures for the
department. • Coordinate complex calendars and proactively schedule
meetings with internal and external stakeholders. • Prepare
thorough and well-organized documents, including reports, agendas,
presentations, and correspondence. • Collaborate with teams and
vendors to exchange necessary information and ensure smooth
workflows. • Organize events such as team meetings, conferences,
and employee recognition programs, including managing budgets and
logistics. • Act as custodian for corporate documents and records,
ensuring their proper handling and storage.• Minimum of 3 years of
experience in human resources or administrative roles. •
Proficiency in HRIS systems and managing employee data. •
Familiarity with onboarding processes and employee relations
practices. • Strong skills in using Microsoft Office Suite,
including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. • Demonstrated ability to
manage calendars and coordinate meetings effectively. • Experience
conducting background checks and maintaining confidentiality. •
Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Ability to
handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a
fast-paced environment.
