Modis, a leader in the staffing industry, is working with a client to fill a Citrix Analyst/Engineer Job in Cleveland Ohio within their prestigious organization in a highly visible position.   The Citrix Analyst/Engineer Job in Cleveland, Ohio will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the global Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop farms, including web interface servers, Edgesight and Netscaler, appliances.
 
Responsibilities:

• Responsible for monitoring and maintaining Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop farms
• Responsible for server maintenance and will be part of an rotating on-call team
• Will participate in Citrix upgrade in 2015 to Citrix 7.7
• Responsible for coordination, planning and execution of monthly Microsoft patching, testing and provisioning new systems according to standards and procedures
• Responsible for planning, packaging and deployment of new and updated applications to existing Citrix systems, performance troubleshooting and optimization
• Responsible for providing 3rd level support to end users for issues on various OS platforms and the creation and communication of Citrix support documentation for 1st and 2nd level support teams.

 
Required Qualifications:
 

• 
  

• 4 year college degree
• Certification in Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop preferred, equivalent work experience relative to supporting XenApp and XenDesktop platforms running version 6.5 and/or 7.x acceptable
• Deploying servers utilizing PVS and/or MCS in a virtual environment
• Knowledge of Insight and Director monitoring platforms
• Experienced with Citrix Netscaler 9.x or 10.x.
• Experience creating, managing, and deploying software installation packages (Admin Studio, Powershell scripts, Altiris and/or SCCM and application management tools including Appsense and windows policies)
• Experience with Powershell scripting
• Experience building and managing Citrix servers using Windows policies, Microsoft templates, WSUS and Altiris.
• Familiarity with Windows 7, Apple Mac OS and mobile device platforms including iOS, Android and Windows tablets.
