The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various aspects of shipping and transport, coordinating with fleet operations, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The role demands a keen understanding of transportation solutions, route planning, and regulatory compliance in the transportation sector. Plan and coordinate transportation operations, including scheduling, routing, and dispatching. Negotiate and liaise with transportation providers to secure cost-effective services. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local transportation regulations. Monitor delivery processes and resolve any issues that arise during transit. Maintain accurate records of all transportation activities. Collaborate with internal departments to streamline operations and improve service delivery. Develop strategies to minimize operational costs, improve efficiency, and optimize customer satisfaction. Proficiency in logistics and route management software.
