Job Description Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a strong mechanical knowledge to assist in various towing and roadside assistance tasks. This role requires the ability to operate different types of tow trucks, including flatbeds, and to manage diverse situations with professionalism and efficiency. Responsibilities Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed models, to transport vehicles as needed. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients in distress and ensuring their needs are met. Perform basic automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle conditions before towing. Manage conflict situations with professionalism and resolve issues effectively. Maintain accurate records of towing activities and vehicle conditions. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on towing equipment to ensure safety and reliability. Drive in various weather conditions while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Utilize manual transmission vehicles as required for specific towing tasks. Assist with loading and unloading vehicles using forklifts when necessary. Experience Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with a focus on towing or roadside assistance. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues during operations. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics is a plus. Previous experience in customer service roles is highly desirable. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently. Experience managing conflicts effectively in high-pressure situations.
