Job Description:
Lincoln Electric, a leader in the welding and cutting industry,
is seeking a dedicated Research Scientist to join our innovative
Research & Development team based in Cleveland, Ohio. This position
is ideal for someone passionate about creating cutting-edge
technologies and solutions in the manufacturing sector. As part of
our R&D department, the Research Scientist will contribute to
the development of new products and enhancements of existing ones,
ensuring Lincoln Electric remains at the forefront of technological
advancements. Conduct applied research and experimental testing to
develop new technologies and improve existing product lines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and
marketing, to develop project objectives and deliverables. Analyze
and interpret data to draw meaningful conclusions and steer project
direction. Prepare detailed reports and present findings to
stakeholders. Stay current with industry trends and advancements to
maintain competitive edge. Guide and mentor junior researchers and
interns. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency
in statistical software and programming languages relevant to data
analysis. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in welding technology and materials science. Ability to
manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Certification or advanced training in statistical analysis is
preferred. Relevant professional certification in project
management (e.g., PMP) is beneficial.
