Field telephone and e-mail requests from current and prospective online students. Research and respond to requests and engage in proactive outreach for current online students. Provide guidance in online courses and programs. Update the department's Twitter and Facebook accounts. Provide general office support, including answering telephones, typing and sending emails, running errands on campus, filing. Must be comfortable learning and applying online course technologies.

  • Ability to work between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
  • Required to meet the University's minimum requirements for employment
  • Ability to deal with the public in a professional manner
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to follow instructions carefully
  • Aptitude for learning and using technology
  • Adherence to all University and departmental policies and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with online courses or learning management systems
  • Prior work experience in a customer service position
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including MS Word and Excel
