Job Description:

J8 Security is seeking a dedicated Hospital Security Officer to join our team in providing a safe and secure environment at healthcare facilities. We focus on delivering tailored security solutions that meet the unique needs of each facility, leveraging both on-the-ground personnel and advanced surveillance technology. This role is crucial in maintaining the safety of hospital patients, staff, and visitors through vigilant monitoring, response to security incidents, and effective risk management. Patrol hospital grounds to deter and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates. Monitor CCTV feeds and operate security systems to proactively address potential threats. Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances promptly. Manage access control to the facility, ensuring that every visitor is authorized and logged. Document all security incidents and provide detailed reports of daily activities. Assist in emergency management and crisis response. Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary. Provide guidance and assistance to patients, staff, and visitors in compliance with hospital policies. Strong surveillance and observation skills Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively Strong interpersonal and communication skills Physical fitness capable of handling long durations of standing and patrolling Proficiency in using security technology and systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Valid state security officer license CPR and First Aid certification preferred Completion of a Certified Healthcare Security Officer program is advantageous
